Overview
Customize the header to include all your company branding. Our default heading has a logo and links to primary categories; you should change this to match your own logo and categories (you can also remove the categories entirely). If desired, you can save a few different headers with varying branding for seasons, promotional vs. transactional, or content tests.
Find Your Header Element
Designing your header is similar to designing your footer. You will have the opportunity to use some new design components, such as images and navigation links. Similar to the footer, let's first pull the HEADER element into a template to be able to change it.
Change Out Your Logo
Let's start to brand the header with your logo, just drag yours in and size it how you want.
Tip: You can hold down shift when resizing to jump in increments of 10
Update the Navigation Links
If you don't want to have navigation links you can select the element and delete it out. If you do want navigation you can update the text and links to include the appropriate headings and links. The navigation element makes it was to add and remove links.
Update Any Styling/Branding
You can update any fonts, colors, or more advanced structure within the header element. You can always come back to this step later and add in more advanced styling as well. You may also have many HEADERS in the future for seasons, flash sales, etc...
Save Your Header Element
Once you are done editing your HEADER, you can save the element for future use just like the FOOTER was done or as shown here.
