Overview
The Zaius integration with Facebook allows customer segments created in Zaius to be used in audience targeting on the desktop news feed, Instagram, and the Facebook Audience Network. This provides an opportunity to expand your brand's reach beyond the traditional email channel and meet your customers with compelling promotions in other areas.
Configuration
For traditional accounts (Non-Business Manager)
Sign in to your Facebook account and locate the correct account ID. Click on "Manage Ads" to review your account IDs. Currently, only one Facebook account can be synced to a Zaius account.
Once you have the Account ID:
- In your Zaius account, select the Account Settings
icon from the main navigation bar.
- In the sidebar, select Integrations under the Data Management section.
- Locate and select the Facebook card to reveal its details.
- Place the Account ID into the Ad Account ID field.
- Click the Authorize button and accept the Facebook authentication.
- Toggle the Inactive option to the "Active" position.
If you haven't used Custom Audiences yet, you'll need to accept the Facebook Terms of Service for Custom Audiences. To do this, follow the link shown here, adding your Facebook ad account id (the same one connected to your Zaius integration) after act=.

It's important to accept these terms of service specific to the account that is integrated with Zaius, not your personal or other business ad account.
For accounts managed with Business Manager
Please ensure you're using the Facebook account that is linked to your active Business Manager account.
To obtain your Facebook Ads account ID:
- Sign in to the Business Manager.
- Click on Business Settings > Ad Accounts.
- Select the account that you'd like to sync with Zaius.
- Copy the ad account number that appears on the right.
Once you have your Account ID:
- In your Zaius account, select the Account Settings
icon from the main navigation bar.
- In the sidebar, select Integrations under the Data Management section.
- Locate and select the Facebook card to reveal its details.
- Place the Account ID into the Ad Account ID field.
- Click the Authorize button and accept the Facebook authentication.
- Toggle the Inactive option to the "Active" position.
Sync specific segments
Determine which segments to sync to Facebook by selecting the segment and toggling the Facebook option into the "On" position under Next Scheduled 3rd-Party Segment Sync header.
Toggle the Enable Lookalike setting on if you'd like Facebook to find additional customers who have similar attributes to the people who are in that base custom segment/audience. This feature uses the Facebook lookalike setting "Greater Reach" (top 5% of people in the selected country that are similar to the seed Custom Audience). All lookalike audiences are set to model against US Facebook users.
