Overview
The Zaius integration with Criteo allows you to sync segments of customers to Criteo based on Zaius insights and analytics.
Send Data Back to Criteo
Enable the Zaius Criteo Audience Sync app to send customer insights that are generated in Zaius to Criteo for campaign targeting. This integration is one-way, meaning it only sends data to Criteo. Data is updated nightly.
Available data
Zaius data for likelihood to purchase, churn prevention, and discount usage are available to sync to Criteo as pre-defined audiences.
- Order Likelihood: Syncs four audiences for different likelihoods to purchase in the next six weeks (Unlikely, Likely, Very Likely, Extremely Likely)
- Winback: Syncs three audiences for churn prevention (Engaged, Winback, Churned)
- Discount Usage: Syncs three audience for discount usage (Always, Sometimes, Never)
You may select any or all of these three categories to send when you configure the integration, and may change them at any time. Removing an audience from your settings does not remove the field or the data on the Criteo side, but the audiences will stop refreshing; you may wish to delete them yourself.
Data will sync overnight every night, for all customers in Zaius with an email. Audiences will be prefaced with "Zaius" in Criteo.
Zaius audiences can be used to generate look-alike models on the Criteo side. You can also manually sync custom Zaius segments. Create the segment you want to target, apply that segment to filter your customer profiles, and export the email addresses belonging to that segment. You will have to manually update this audience in Criteo to capture ongoing changes.
Configuration
Enable the Criteo Audience Sync app in Zaius by clicking on the App Directory in the top right, choosing Criteo Audience Sync, and selecting Install App.
Next, insert your Client ID and Client Secret from Criteo in their respective fields under Authenticate. Authorize to test the connection.
Use the dropdown to select the Advertiser to which to send your audiences and click Save.
Finally, configure your sync. You may add or remove types of audiences to sync, or retain the defaults. Once you have identified the types of audiences that you want to sync, click Save. Make sure you save even if you do not make changes to the defaults. You may then start an immediate sync. If you do not start a sync, your next sync will be overnight.
Come back to this page at any time to make changes to this configuration.
