We’ve been working on various enhancements to the Zaius Engagement Designer to improve your in-app design experience. In the next few weeks, you’ll have access to the following updates:
New Social Media Logos (Released)
We extended our Social Networks section under the Social design element to include logos and link placeholders for TikTok and Strava.
Title Case Text Format (Released)
The title case text format will capitalize words in a text string according to AP style. You can apply this text format by clicking on a Liquid pill and selecting Title Case from the text format drop-down. The title case format will come especially handy in cases where your raw data is not capitalized properly, like names, countries, etc.
Setting Link Parameters at the Container Level (Coming Soon)
This enhancement will give you the ability to add link parameters or update the default UTM parameters on the global container level, meaning that you’ll be able to set your link parameters, for all your links, in one place. This will allow you to customize your link preferences much faster and with fewer clicks.
To change your link parameters, click on Container in the layout breadcrumbs and scroll down to the Link Parameters section. Here you can change your UTM parameters, add new ones, delete ones you no longer need or reset your link parameters to default.
Consistent Image Sizing (Coming Soon)
We improved the experience of placing images into your layouts by giving you the ability to modify image height in the designer. With this addition, you’ll be able to adjust image sizing more precisely and make your grids containing images look more aligned and aesthetically pleasing.
You will have three options to adjust an image’s size:
- Consistent: Your image’s height will be set to 200px with an “auto” width. (This will be the new default setting for all new images added to the layout.)
- Full: Your image’s width and height will both be set to “auto,” so it will be able to take up as much space as it needs. This is akin to the old default setting.
- Custom: You can choose the image’s width and height.
Note that the aspect ratio of an image will remain locked, and an image won’t get distorted by any combination of settings.
